CODE TEENS GAMEDEV & PROGRAMMING 3D

Basic programming concepts

Put your child to the test with our course specially developed for teenagers aged 12 and over

  • Revisit and deepen the Lua language with a focus on object-oriented programming (OOP), advanced functions and data structures;
  • Develop complete 3D games with the professional Defold engine, mastering its interface, render pipeline and script logic;
  • Implement 3D physics, collisions, movement in three-dimensional space and advanced camera systems;
  • Create graphical interfaces (GUI/HUD), scoring, lives and timer systems within a 3D game;
  • Animate 3D characters and objects and integrate sound and music into the project;
  • Build a complete 3D game, from concept to final polish, across two progressive modules.

  • Master the Defold engine for creating three-dimensional games, understanding its workflow, game objects, scripts and render pipeline;
  • Foster creative independence, computational thinking and the ability to solve complex problems in a professional gamedev context.

  • Create a complete, functional 3D game in Defold with movement, collisions, enemies, automatic spawning, a game manager, HUD and visual polish;
  • Program in Lua with object orientation, communication between scripts via messages and advanced code organisation;
  • Set up and control 3D cameras (perspective, follow camera, look-at), lighting and rendering in a professional engine;
  • Integrate 3D physics (collision objects, groups, masks), animations and audio systems into a coherent project;
